This person will take full ownership of Buffer’s social media presence across all platforms, embodying our brand in every piece of content and interaction.

Job Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality content that performs well and aligns with our brand

Eligbility Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an in-house social media manager and a proven track record of independently managing and growing a social media presence for brands. Experience in tech/SaaS is a plus.
- An existing and deep understanding of Buffer’s product and culture is essential.
- Excellent content creation skills including exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences. You can also independently create basic videos and graphics and have a natural and engaging presence when on camera.
- Strong at creating and executing on social media strategy across social networks and adapting to new social networks as they arise. Specific experience with LinkedIn and Instagram is essential. Experience with Threads, Mastodon, or Bluesky is a plus.
- Comfortable digging into performance data and analysis and using those insights to adjust strategy and report on overall impact.
- A natural desire to be active on social media is essential, we are looking for candidates who are already active on their own personal social media profiles and can speak from personal experience.
- An interest in decentralized social media platforms is a plus.
