Responsibilities of the Video Editor at Selar
- Develop creative concepts for video content that showcases the Selar brand, including creator spotlights, advertisements, tutorials, brand campaigns, video podcasts, and event highlights.
- Design and animate unique motion graphics, explainer videos, and visual elements for various platforms such as social media, YouTube, and product videos.
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into refined and engaging content optimized for different social media channels (Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Take the lead on video shoots, overseeing direction, filming, and the post-production process.
- Work closely with the content and marketing teams to create video ideas that support campaign objectives and brand strategy.
- Keep abreast of current visual trends, creator culture, and new video formats.
- Organize and maintain a library of video assets, templates, and motion graphics.
Key Qualifications for the Video Editor at Selar
- Possesses at least 5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics creation.
- Presents a strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics skills, video editing expertise, and storytelling capabilities.
- Proficient in industry-standard software including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
- Has experience in directing and/or managing video production processes.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of how video content performs on various social media platforms.
- Exhibits a strong visual intuition, keen attention to detail, and the ability to transform scripts and ideas into compelling visual narratives.
- Is self-motivated, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting.
