Responsibilities of the Sales lead at LIAC
- Create and execute detailed sales strategies for both the Awari App and Lost in Lagos Magazine, in line with LIAC’s overarching business goals.
- Identify and target crucial potential clients nationwide, including restaurants, bars, shops, lifestyle brands, and advertising agencies.
- Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with clients and partners.
- Oversee the complete sales process, from identifying prospects and generating leads to negotiating and finalizing deals.
- Develop persuasive sales presentations and proposals customized to meet client requirements.
- Meet and surpass assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Recruit, train, guide, and manage a successful sales team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Define and monitor key sales performance indicators, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and editorial teams to ensure coordination and maximize sales potential.
Key Qualifications for the Sales lead Role at LIAC
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Possesses a strong history of 4+ years of increasing responsibility in sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, ideally within media, advertising, digital platforms, or lifestyle sectors.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of both digital and print advertising sales.
- Exhibits excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Has a proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Experienced in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Proven capacity to lead and motivate a sales team to meet targets.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
- Displays an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian lifestyle scene is a considerable asset.
