Opay seeks a Business Developer to expand their digital product user base and drive customer acquisition in assigned regions.

Role Summary

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (markets, partnerships, trends).
Conduct market research to identify growth areas and target customers.
Develop and execute strategic plans for market penetration and revenue growth.
Set ambitious, measurable goals for business expansion.
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs.
Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals.
Develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
Gain deep product knowledge and be able to articulate the value proposition to clients.
Provide guidance and advice to others regarding product advantages.
Regularly analyze market feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about the competitive landscape and regional market trends.

Hold an HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Have at least 2 years of experience as a Business Development Executive (BDE) in Merchant Acquiring.
Possess prior experience working in a Banking firm or as a Direct Sales Executive in a Commercial Bank.
Have a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Demonstrate a history of successfully driving the adoption of financial products by customers.
Possess excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Have strong marketing, engagement, and interpersonal skills.
