Wlb Consulting is looking for a Communications Manager to design and carry out communication plans that are strategically aligned with the client’s overall business aims.

Responsibilities of the Communications Manager

  • Create and put into action complete communication strategies that support the organization’s goals.
  • Examine audience insights and trends to customize communication goals and engagement plans.
  • Supervise the production of relevant and high-quality content for all company communication channels.
  • Manage the timely delivery of all content across every communication channel.
  • Guarantee that all company communications are clear, targeted, accurate, and current.
  • Maintain a consistent and clear brand voice across all communication platforms.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with media professionals, outlets, journalists, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of a database of media contacts.
  • Handle press inquiries and ensure prompt responses to all media requests across communication channels.
  • Develop internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Work together with other departments on important announcements and updates.
  • Create and track performance indicators to measure and assess the impact and effectiveness of communication strategies, goals, and activities.

Role Requirements for the Communications Manager

  • Ability to use social media analytics and business page tools effectively.
  • Skilled in using communication tools and software, such as Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, with at least 3 years in a management position.
  • Knowledge of the company’s industry is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of brand management, media relations, and marketing.
  • Certifications in communications or media relations are a plus.
  • Proficiency in platform analytical tools and people management.
