Responsibilities of the Website and Automation Developer at BUA Group
- Oversee and maintain the company website, ensuring its functionality, security, and currency.
- Implement and manage website automation tools to streamline processes like content updates, user interactions, and data collection.
- Partner with the marketing team to optimize the website for search engine optimization (SEO), user experience, and lead acquisition.
- Monitor website performance, analyze traffic data, and create reports to pinpoint areas needing improvement.
- Identify and resolve website problems, including downtime, software errors, and performance issues.
- Develop and implement website security protocols to safeguard against cyber threats and data breaches.
- Integrate external tools and application programming interfaces (APIs) to enhance website capabilities (e.g., payment processors, customer relationship management systems).
Key Qualifications for the Website and Automation Developer at BUA Group
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in website management, web development, or digital automation.
- Proven experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Integromat, or custom scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of web security protocols and tools (e.g., SSL, firewalls, vulnerability scanning).
- Strong technical skills in website development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
