Responsibilities of the Account Manager at Bumpa
- Oversee and monitor the growth of your assigned portfolio of paying merchants.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to these merchants, understanding their businesses and competitive environments, and advocating for Bumpa’s solutions to drive their success.
- Work closely with the Merchant Success team to improve engagement and retention across all merchants.
- Proactively engage and nurture assigned merchants through outreach and initiatives like webinars and email campaigns.
- Address merchant escalations from Support and Community teams, providing solutions, guidance, and problem-solving support.
- Cultivate and manage the overall merchant relationship.
- Gather merchant feedback and proactively identify potential issues.
- Generate reports on account status.
- Perform other assigned tasks and projects.
Role Requirements for the Account Manager at Bumpa
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Solid technical understanding.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities.
- 2-3 years of experience in Customer Success/Account Management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, passionate, tech-savvy, and a fast learner.
- Comfortable working with customers, sometimes in challenging situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with Freshdesk, CRM tools, Slack, and Google Suite is a plus.
- Driven to achieve revenue retention and customer health goals.
- Ability to quickly establish client relationships.
- Experience with process design and improvement.
- Eager to grow a career with a fast-growing company.
