Eligibility Requirements for the ZUEL Scholarship for International Students
- Applicants must possess a valid foreign passport, not be a Chinese citizen, demonstrate good character, maintain a positive disposition towards China, and have a clean criminal record.
- For Bachelor’s degree applicants, a minimum HSK Level 5 is required, along with a strong high school academic record.
- For graduate programs in Chinese, applicants need at least HSK Level 5 and a university GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- For graduate programs in English, applicants must provide proof of English proficiency through IELTS (6.0+), TOEFL (80+), or a prior English-taught degree, and maintain a university GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicants must not currently hold any other scholarships.

- Scanned transcripts of academic records
- A Study Plan proposal or Research Proposal
