Background
KNUST and the Mastercard Foundation are collaborating to educate 2,250 promising but financially challenged African students over 15 years. This initiative aims to equip them with quality university education, enabling them to drive positive change and development across the continent.

Eligibility Requirements for the Mastercard Scholarship at KNUST
- Applicants must possess valid WASSCE, GBCE, ABCE, GCE O/A Level, or equivalent results from a recognized institution.
- Results must be no more than five years old.
- Applicants with awaiting results will not be considered.
- Applicants must meet KNUST’s general admission requirements.
- Applicants must demonstrate significant economic need.
- Applicants must have a proven record of leadership and community engagement.
- Applicants must be committed to returning and contributing to their communities.
- Applicants must not be currently enrolled in any tertiary institution.
