As a Storytelling Officer, you’ll be at the heart of crafting engaging content across various platforms. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on transforming experiences into compelling stories, whether through written articles, audio narratives, or visual concepts. You’ll play a crucial role in bringing narratives to life and connecting with audiences through powerful storytelling.
Key Qualifications for the Storytelling Officer
- 1-2 years of proven experience in storytelling, content writing, journalism, creative writing, or similar fields.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills, coupled with a natural ability to capture authentic voices and experiences.
- A genuine passion for African storytelling, podcasting, and understanding the creator economy.
- The ability to conduct meaningful interviews and skillfully transform them into engaging stories.
- Strong research, project management, and organizational abilities.
- Comfort working across diverse content formats, including written, audio, and visual.
