Responsibilities of the Community Engagement Interns
- Assist in coordinating the work of community-based champions.
- Help organize and lead structured discussions with married couples.
- Aid in documenting feedback and success stories from the community.
- Contribute to efforts that mobilize the community and increase awareness.
- Support the engagement of traditional and religious leaders.
Key Qualifications for the Community Engagement Interns
- Individuals currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in public health, social sciences, community development, or a similar field are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
- Fluency in local languages, with a preference for Hausa, is desired.
- Applicants should possess cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the northern Nigerian context.
- A willingness to travel to rural communities within Kaduna State is required.
