Catawiki is seeking a Senior Back End Engineer to impact by improving and delivering product innovations for the Catawiki platform.

Role Summary

Improve and deliver product innovations for the Catawiki platform.
Build scalable microservices with the Development team.
Measure and monitor system performance.
Use experimentation and data analysis to add product features and enhance user experience.
Partner with engineers and a Product Manager to improve the payments, pricing, and financial administration experience for users and stakeholders.

Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, specializing in object-oriented programming.
Experience designing, implementing, and deploying backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and consistency.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers as part of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and a passion for collaborating with engineers across the organization.
Understanding of the business value, product impact, and customer influence of your work.
Comfortable documenting RFCs and outlining problem statements, opportunities, and solution trade-offs.
Prior experience or strong interest in the Fintech domain.
