Responsibilities of the Program Manager at Genesys Foundation
- Develop and manage strategic programs focused on tech education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of training programs, ensuring objectives and KPIs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, government agencies, investors, and mentors.
- Develop program budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure efficient delivery and accountability.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, design, marketing, and operations) to support program execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery.
- Track and report program progress, impact, and key learnings to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and lead community engagement initiatives, hackathons, and events that support the tech ecosystem.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Genesys community.
Role Requirements for the Program Manager at Genesys Foundation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program/project management, tech incubation, or a similar role.
- Ability to handle and manipulate bulk program data, including analysis, reporting, and automation.
- Familiarity with branding or marketing campaigns to promote programs.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite tools (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian tech ecosystem, startups, and innovation landscape.
- Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder programs with measurable impact.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in securing partnerships, funding, and sponsorships is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and youth empowerment.
- Experience in a tech-driven environment, with exposure to software development, UX design, or IT operations, is a plus.
