Responsibilities of the Backend Engineer at Prembly
- Create, build, and keep up scalable and effective backend services and APIs.
- Improve application speed and guarantee strong uptime and dependability.
- Work together with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to provide excellent solutions.
- Put into practice security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and stop weaknesses.
- Keep up and improve databases to ensure efficient data storage and access.
- Write clear, easy-to-maintain, and well-documented code, adhering to industry standards.
- Find and fix backend problems and performance bottlenecks.
Role Requirements for the Backend Engineer at Prembly
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in backend development.
- More than four years of experience in backend development, ideally in dynamic settings.
- Advanced skills in Python.
- Practical experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
- Demonstrated ability to build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
