Background
In line with its dedication to education and human capital development, NLNG invites applications from first-year students in the 2024/2025 academic session for the 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.
This initiative is designed to support exceptional first-year students (in the 2024/2025 academic session) in Nigerian Universities, equipping them with the resources to excel academically and contribute to national development.
NLNG is committed to fostering an inclusive scholarship programme and encourages applications from all eligible students, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).
Eligibility Requirements for the NLNG 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award
- Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time first year student in 2024/2025 academic session in an undergraduate programme at an accredited Nigerian federal or state-owned university.
- Must possess at least five O-Level credits including Mathematics and English, in WASC, SSCE or NECO in ONE sitting.
- Must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
- Must NOT be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of NLNG.

- Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
- O-Level and UTME results
- University and JAMB Admission letter
- University student ID card
- National Population Commission Issued Birth certificate
- Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification
- National ID Number (NIN) Slip
